Grand Tour Lanzarote
Today it’s time to get up early to take the boat to Lanzarote. The first stop will be in the Timanfaya National Park to get to know the heart of Lanzarote, with the geotechnical tests and take a bus route through the interior of the Park, where we will enjoy the incredible views of the last great volcanic activity that devastated the island of Lanzarote 300 years ago. Once we finish visiting the impressive Volcanoes of Lanzarote, we continue towards the North of Lanzarote, stopping at the Museo del Campesino, by the wonderful Cesar Manrique and we continue towards La Cueva de los Verdes, one of the largest volcanic tubes in the world and all an experience. To finish, we stopped at the Mirador del Río to enjoy the views of the Chinijo Archipelago.
We return to the south of Lanzarote, with stops in Famara, to have a picnic on the beach, stop in Teguise, the oldest city in the Canary Islands and head to Playa Blanca to take the boat back to Fuerteventura, but first, a stop in La Geria to try Lanzarote wine and of course, buy some bottles that we can enjoy in Villadestino.
