Wolves
To be able to access the island you have to register on the Canary Islands government website (we will provide you with paperwork)
On Lobos Island, we can do various activities, such as snorkeling or paddle surfing, as well as a short hike from the port to the Lobos Island Lighthouse. Despite the 4-hour restriction, we organize everything so that your group has a great time on Wolf Island.
One of the obligatory photos in Lobos is in El Puertito, which has become a reference on Instagram. Once you have taken the first dip and following the same path as before, about 40 minutes later you will find the lighthouse, the path up to here is quite flat so there is no problem. It should be said that there is not a single shade on the island, so we recommend that you wear a cap or hat to protect your head from the sun and a good sunscreen. We were lucky that it was a little cloudy and the sun didn’t shine much, but it’s better to be safe.
We can also climb the volcano with wonderful views of Lobos, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, but you have to be physically fit.
After walking all morning, if you do it at a light pace in about 3 hours you can turn around and climb the volcano, you will have an hour to relax on the beach and snorkel.
La concha beach has a family space and another more secluded one for practicing nudism, so if you are one of those who are shocked, take a good look at where you are going. When it’s time to return, you have the pier just 5 minutes away to take the ferry back. To eat, we can organize a picnic or eat at the only restaurant in Lobos, a delicious paella in a very special place.
